Sample Itinerary
Day 1 | Welcome to Riviera Maya
Arrive at Cancun International Airport and enjoy your included transfer to RIU Palace Mexico. After checking in, settle into the resort, explore the property, and begin your all-inclusive getaway. That evening, join the group for a casual Welcome Meet & Greet to connect with your fellow travelers and kick off an unforgettable weekend together.
Day 2 | Resort Day & Theme Night
Today is yours to enjoy however you choose. Relax by the pool, lounge on the beach, enjoy the resort's restaurants, or book an optional excursion or spa treatment.
In the evening, join us for the resort's themed party night for a fun evening of music, entertainment, and great company.
Day 3 | Chichén Itzá Adventure
Today we'll experience the highlight of the trip—a guided excursion to Chichén Itzá, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Our day includes exploring the ancient Mayan city, visiting a beautiful natural cenote for a refreshing swim, enjoying a buffet lunch, and stopping in the charming colonial town of Valladolid before returning to the resort that evening.
Day 4 | Relax, Explore & Celebrate
Enjoy one last full day in paradise. Spend time relaxing at the resort, soaking up the Caribbean sunshine, or choosing an optional excursion if you're ready for another adventure.
That evening, we'll gather for one final group dinner to celebrate an incredible weekend, share memories, and toast to new friendships and unforgettable experiences.
Day 5 | Until Next Time
After breakfast, check out of the resort and enjoy your included airport transfer to Cancun International Airport for your journey home.
You'll leave with unforgettable memories, amazing new friendships, and your first adventure in our Seven Wonders of the World Series complete.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I come alone?
Absolutely! Many of our travelers join us solo and leave with new friendships. Whether you're traveling on your own or with a friend, you'll be welcomed into an amazing community of women.
Do I need a passport?
Yes. A valid U.S. passport is required to travel to Mexico. We recommend that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.
Are flights included?
No. This is a land-only travel package. Travelers are responsible for booking their own flights to Cancun, Mexico.
What airport should I fly into?
Please book your flight into Cancún International Airport (CUN). This is the airport serving the Riviera Maya and is where your included airport transfers will be provided.
Is airport transportation included?
Yes! Round-trip airport transportation between Cancún International Airport (CUN) and the resort is included with your travel package.
Can I make payments?
Yes. Secure your spot with the required deposit and make convenient monthly payments leading up to the final payment deadline.
Please note: Monthly payments are required to keep your reservation active. Guests who fall significantly behind on payments may be at risk of cancellation, and all payments made remain nonrefundable based on the terms and conditions of the trip.
Do I need a roommate?
You may travel with a roommate of your choice or select a single-occupancy package, if available.
What is the activity level for this trip?
This trip is easy to moderate. Most of your time will be spent relaxing at the resort. The Chichén Itzá excursion includes walking outdoors on uneven surfaces and a visit to a cenote. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Is travel insurance required?
Travel insurance is not required; however, it is strongly recommended to protect your investment and help cover unexpected cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, lost baggage, or other travel interruptions.
Will there be free time?
Yes! We've intentionally built free time into the itinerary so you can enjoy the resort, relax on the beach, unwind by the pool, book a spa treatment, or choose an optional excursion at your own pace.
Will I need cash in Mexico?
Most restaurants, shops, and businesses accept major credit cards. However, we recommend bringing a small amount of U.S. dollars (USD) for tips, small purchases, local vendors, and optional expenses. Many tourist areas also accept USD, though you may receive change in Mexican pesos.
What’s the weather like in Mexico?
January is one of the best times to visit the Riviera Maya, with warm daytime temperatures typically ranging from 78°F–84°F and cooler evenings. Expect plenty of sunshine—perfect for enjoying the beach and outdoor activities.
